New Type 1-ECO Filament Winding Machine for smallest batch series and manual production

For manual production cells in the field of filament winding technology, Roth Composite Machinery developed the new machine Type 1-ECO. It is the standardised version of the gantry-type Filament Winding Machine being the most successful tailor-made machine on the market offered by the manufacturer from Steffenberg. For Roth, this is an entry into the series production of Filament Winding Machines. The Type 1-ECO machine is equipped with all essential basic functions and offers particularly cost-conscious newcomers in the filament winding technology the attributes robustness, durability and precision Roth is known for. The new machine is convincing with its modular concept of up to four spindles. A maximum of four winding axes and two length variants (4,000 and 10,000 millimetres) are configurable. Each spindle is driven separately and thus, a simple and cost-effective
retrofitting is enabled. The company expands its machine program with this machine type. Bernd Fischer, Sales Director of Roth
Composite Machinery, declared: “The new machine is complementing our product range in a meaningful manner. Due to its unique flexibility, our customers have the possibility to extend the machine cost-efficiently and can adapt it to increasing demands. The machine grows with new production requirements and individual tasks.”
Besides standardised machines, Roth also delivers complex plants with highest degree of automation far beyond the usual state-of-the-art technology. Production lines of Roth Composite Machinery achieve success with short installation times and ensure a fast start of the production. The manufacturer has been developing, planning and producing Filament Winding
Machines for more than 50 years and has almost 30 years of experience in the development of fullyautomated plants in this sector.
