Greater efficiency in filter production

New knife pleating machine from Roth Composite Machinery impresses with high production speed and flexibility with minimal maintenance requirements.

Roth Composite Machinery GmbH based in Burgwald presents an optimised drive concept for the pleating technology: the servo knife pleating machine for large material widths of up to 2,400 mm sets new standards regarding flexibility, speed and ease of maintenance. It has been specially developed for processing a wide variety of filter media and offers a maximised level of efficiency due to its innovative technology.

With a working width of up to 2,400 millimetres and a variable pleating height of between 5 and 160 millimetres, the new machine is designed for a wide range of applications. It achieves an impressive output of up to 200 pleats per minute - a top value in its class.

A special feature is the double-sided drive that ensures exceptional stability and power. In addition, the machine can be optionally extended with an edge trimming and perforation unit - this increases the flexibility by a further level.

Thanks to the advanced servo technology, the mechanical components are reduced to a minimum. This means: almost no wear and extremely low maintenance requirements - a significant advantage in daily use.

The new servo knife pleating machine has already successfully passed the practical test with customers from various industries. It has a modular design and can be customised to the specific requirements of each application.

“With this development, we are once again emphasising our innovative strength in the field of pleating“, says Dennis Brueckner, Plant Manager at Roth Composite Machinery in Burgwald, “our customers benefit from a powerful, reliable and flexibly configurable solution.“
