"We want to have a lasting and cross-generational impact," explained entrepreneur Manfred Roth when presenting the foundation contract. It is at the core of the Roth Group to enable participation, to focus on social issues and to help those in particular need: not only in the regions where Roth Industries companies are located, but also beyond. The company is therefore committed to cultural life in the "Hinterland", in church communities, sports clubs and universities, to the "Lebenshilfe"-organization and in daycare centers.
In order to create a permanent foundation for this commitment, the 85-year-old and his family have decided to set up a foundation - the "Manfred Roth Foundation". It will pursue non-profit, charitable and church purposes. The aspects of education, support and promotion play a central role in the twelve points of the contract, which list the specific purposes for which the foundation's funds are to be used.
In addition to Manfred Roth and his wife Heike, the foundation's board includes their three children Claus-Hinrich Roth, Christin Roth-Jäger and Dr. Anne-Kathrin Roth. "We are very pleased about this step and the opportunities offered by the establishment of the foundation," emphasized Manfred Roth.
